The freshman guard was the star of last week's rally, draining the game-winning three at the buzzer to complete the comeback from a 10-point deficit in the final three minutes to down North Carolina, 85-84.

This time, he had some big support from Curry, who attacked the rim in the final 10 minutes and put pressure on a North Carolina State team in serious foul trouble. The Blue Devils (22-4, 9-2 ACC) started 3-of-20 from long range, but made five of their final nine tries.

Lorenzo Brown led North Carolina State (18-8, 7-4) with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Alex Johnson added 13 points and C.J. Leslie posted 12 points, nine rebounds and six blocks. The loss snapped the Wolfpack's three-game winning streak.

Football Betting: Defensive Rookie of the Year Awards

Oddsmakers have released the odds for the 2009 AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award and Seattle Seahawks linebacker Aaron Curry has been made the opening favorite.

Seattle took Curry with the fourth overall pick in April's NFL draft and plan on inserting him into its starting lineup right away. The Hawks traded linebacker Julian Peterson in the offseason, so Curry is expected to have a significant role in Seattle's defense next year and that's one of the primary reasons he is the favorite to win the NFL ROY Award.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook MySportsbook.com have made Curry a 5/1 favorite to win this year's NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award. Given that he was the best defensive prospect in this year's draft and how he'll have plenty of opportunities to make plays in '09, Curry offers a ton of value at 5/1.
